Sindh Prison Department Jobs 2026 Official Advertisement Details:

Inspector General Sindh Prisons & Corrective Service has officially publish the Jobs Advertisement in the Dawn Newspaper. Prison Department Seeking applications from the Males and Females to fill up the vacant positions of Constables and Lady Constables (BPS-05). Residents of Sindh Province who possess minimum Matric and meet the physical standards can apply through the defined application process.

Eligibility Criteria:

Below is the detailed Eligibility Criteria, read it carefully like Educational details, Age Limit, and Physical Standards:

Educational Qualification: 

Both male and female candidates must have completed their Matriculation (10th Grade) with at least a "C" Grade from any recognized Board of Education in Pakistan. 

Age Limit:

Candidates must be between 18 and 28 years old as on the closing date of applications. Please Note that, as per the official advertisement there is no relaxation in the upper age limit.

Physical Standards for Male Candidates:

• Height: Minimum 5 feet and 5 inches.
• Chest: 33 inches with an expansion to 34.5 inches.
• Vision: 6/6 in both eyes (without glasses).
• Running Test: Candidates must be able to complete a 1.6-kilometer running within 7 minutes.

Physical Standards for Female Candidates:

• Height: Minimum 5 feet.
• Walking Test: Candidates must be able to complete an 800-meter walk within 14 minutes. 

Terms and Conditions:

Before applying, candidates should be aware of the following Terms & Conditions:

1. Domicile: Only the domicile holders of Sindh Province are eligible to apply.
2. Quotas: The recruitment process will strictly follow the Minority Quota as per the policy of the Government of Sindh.
3. Verification: Original certificates and documents will be verified at the interview stage. Any candidate providing false or forged information will be disqualified immediately.
4. Physical Testing: Only those who pass the physical fitness test will be invited to sit for the written examination conducted by the Pakistan Testing Service (PTS).
5. Place of Posting: The Selected candidates can be posted at any prison or correctional facility throughout the province of Sindh.
6. Medical Fitness: Final selection is subject to a medical fitness certificate issued by an authorized Government hospital.

Interested Aspirants can submit applications through the Pakistan Testing Service (PTS). Please Follow these steps carefully to submit your applications: 

Step 1: Online Registration  Visit the official PTS website at https://www.pts.org.pk. Navigate to the recruitment section for Sindh Prisons and fill out the online application form accurately. 

Step 2: Payment of Fees: A non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 1600/- must be paid.      The fee can be deposited at any countrywide online branch of UBL or HBL using the deposit slip available on the PTS website.

Note: Ensure your email or WhatsApp message includes your Full Name, CNIC number, and the Post Name in the subject line. The text on the receipt must be clearly readable. Deadline  The last date for the submission of the online application form is May 11, 2026.

Selection and Testing Process:

The recruitment is a multi-stage process designed to find the most capable individuals:

1. Physical Test: First of all, Candidates who applied for Prison Department will be called for Physical Test. Candidates who failed to clear the Physical Test will not proceed further.

2. Written Test: The candidates who passed the Physical Test will be called for Written test will be Conducted by PTS (Pakistan Testing Services), this test evaluates general knowledge, basic math, and English proficiency.

3. Interview: Candidates who passed the Physical and Written Test, will be called for  final stage where personality, communication skills, and original documents will be verified.

Training: Successful candidates will undergo a rigorous training period before their official posting.
