Pakistan Atomic Energy has announced the Following Job Vacancies in the Most recent jobs notification:
- Tech-I (Mechanical/Chemical/ Telecom)
- Scientific Assistant-I (Physics)

- Tech-II (Mechanical/Chemical)
- Scientific Assistant-II
- Tech-III (Carpenter)
- Special Vehicle Operator-III (Fork Lifter Operator)
- Driver-III
Eligibility Criteria:
Below is the detailed eligibility for each position mentioned in Public Notice No. S-05/2026. Note that for all posts, the maximum age limit is 35 years (as of June 15, 2026), and you are allowed only one 2nd Division in your entire academic career, provided the final degree is a 1st Division.
1. Tech-I (Mechanical/Chemical/ Telecom) (Equivalent to BPS-10)
Eligibility Criteria: 03 years DAE (Mechanical/Chemical/ Telecom) (1st Div.) from recognized Polytechnic Institute.
2. Scientific Assistant-I (Physics) (Equivalent to BPS-10)
Eligibility Criteria: B. Sc. / 2 years Associate degree in Science (ADS) (1st Division) (Physics as compulsory subject)
3. Jr. Assistant-I (Admin. / Stores) (Equivalent to BPS-10)
Eligibility Criteria: BCS/BBA (like HRM / Marketing / IT / Supply Chain Management) Two years, 1st Division or BA/B.Sc./ 2 years Associate degree in Science (ADS) 1st Division or equivalent to other Admin related qualifications as per HEC standard.
4. Tech-II (Mechanical/Chemical) (Equivalent to BPS-8)
Eligibility Criteria:
- a. F. Sc (Pre-Engineering) (1st Division)
- b. Matric with Science (1st Division)/ with 02 years apprenticeship / certificate and 02 years relevant experience and skill test.
5. Scientific Assistant-II (Equivalent to BPS-8)
Eligibility Criteria: F. Sc (1st Division)
6. Tech-III (Carpenter) (Equivalent to BPS-6)
Eligibility Criteria:
- a. Matric with Science minimum 2nd Division with at least 50% marks and 06 years relevant experience.
- b. Matric with Science minimum 2nd Division with at least 50% marks with 01 year technical course (technical/drafting) and 05 years relevant experience.
7. Special Vehicle Operator-III (Fork Lifter Operator) (Equivalent to BPS-8)
Eligibility Criteria: Matric having HTV Civil Driving License with trade test in operation of relevant vehicle and 03 years experience of Fork Lifter Operator. For ex-service men with minimum T.T class II course in the operation of relevant vehicle. Minimum height 168cm.
8. Driver-III (Equivalent to BPS-6)
Eligibility Criteria: Matric having civil Driving License with LTV and HTV with 03 years experience. Minimum height 168cm.
